Responsibilities

  • Produce and disseminate DoD intelligence and intelligence-related sensitive activities reports and briefings that detail DoD clandestine activities for Congress and Senior Executive Branch members.
  • Develop and brief the results of analysis that assesses how DoD intelligence and intelligence-related sensitive activities are meeting National Intelligence Priority Framework priorities and the Secretary of Defense priorities.
  • Review, coordinate, and facilitate OSD-level staffing of sensitive activities actions requiring senior level authorities and approval.
  • Provide technical expertise for the conduct of assessments to include provisions of strategic perspectives on operational requirements, risk thresholds, and planning and execution, as well as trend analysis of these
  • Facilitate cross communications between various DoD intelligence and intelligence-related sensitive activities  (the U.S. Intelligence Community)
  • Maintain strict security standards to include the handling, storage and dissemination of Special Access Program, Alternative or Compensatory Control Measure material and Sensitive Compartmented Information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within Sensitive Activities, Sensitive Collections, or Special Operations.
  • Experience on a major staff or Intelligence Agency, e.g. OSD, Joint Staff, Service Staff, Defense Agency or Combatant Command.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

 

Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with sensitive operations and mission integration. Experience shall include:
  • Supporting the Intelligence Enterprise and the organizations and missions of OUSD(I&S), the Director National Intelligence (DNI), Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, Defense Agencies, and/or the DoD
  • Hard Target intelligence analytic and collection challenges with depth in more than one country.
  • Policy development, program oversight/guidance, capabilities development and resourcing
  • Prepare staff actions with stated positions to advise and provide recommendations to senior leadership within the OUSD(I&S) and the Secretary of Defense.
