Responsibilities

The Irregular Warfare and Counterterrorism (IWCT) SME will provide expertise related to countering threats posed by small UAS left of launch. Specifically, they will require experience in Special Operations programs and capabilities, including irregular warfare and information operations.  They will require knowledge and expertise of military concepts, capabilities, and tactics to counter small UAS threats. They will require experience in engaging foreign partners and developing partner capability.  Finally, they will require experience working with Department of Defense intelligence components, as well as with other U.S. Federal Departments and Agencies, including but not limited to State, Treasury, Commerce, DOJ/FBI, DHS, and intelligence agencies. 

 

The Irregular Warfare and Counterterrorism (IWCT) SME will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting SOLIC efforts to monitor, shape and provide guidance related irregular warfare, information operations, threat finance, and other special operations activities in support of USSOCOM’s prior to launch campaigns globally.
  • Supporting SOLIC efforts to monitor and assess the progress of U.S. Special Operations Command’s prior to launch campaigns globally and advise on changes to policy guidance as necessary.
  • Supporting SOLIC efforts to review, oversee and coordinate the development of Combatant Command irregular warfare operational concepts intended to support C-sUAS prior to launch campaign objectives.
  • Recommending to leadership topics and purpose of CPEC meetings, coordinate agendas, de-conflict priorities, and provide other essential support as necessary, based on input from members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in threat finance intelligence, criminal analysis, or law enforcement investigations
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years of combined OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level experience
