Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief  and the Division Chief in executing their oversight responsibilities as required.
  • Support OUSD(I&S) oversight of the execution of Intelligence strategies in support of activities and operations, as well as the development of policy guidance, the refinement of concepts, processes, and procedures, and the review of CCMD operational and intelligence activities. Working closely with the Joint Staff, the other Combatant Commands, the Defense Intelligence Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), OSD Policy, and other appropriate organizations to ensure that receive the intelligence support required.
  • The contractor shall assist the Division Chief, Director of CCMDIS, Chief, SCTS Branch, and the DDI (Warfighter Support) in maintaining situational awareness of operations and activities around the globe.
  • Additionally, the contractor shall assist the Director and Deputy with policy oversight, implementation planning, and execution of intelligence transformation efforts and related initiatives.
  • Review Combatant Command (CCMDs), Services, and Combat Support Agencies compliance with OUSD(I&S) guidance concerning intelligence support.
  • Coordinate with the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Services, Defense Agencies, and Interagency on issues requiring intelligence integration in support of command missions and activities.
  • Provide analysis on intelligence support to organizations and activities and impediments that support vis-a-vis policy, authorities, and related resource issues. Assist, advise, and review Service, and CSA implementation progress and compliance with established intelligence policy and guidance.
  • . Assist in the overall development and execution of intelligence support to activities through the following sub-tasks:
    • Review, plan, and assist in organizing meetings and video teleconferences (VTCs) and attend meetings when requested.
    • Formulate policy recommendations, prepare briefings, and assist with responses required in the evaluation, review, and justification of staff processes and procedures. Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of intelligence activities.
    • Support the OUSD(I&S) development of documents pertaining to strategic and operational intelligence support to organizations; to include Manpower and resource Reviews, Combat Support Agency Reviews, and Staff Assistance Visits to DoD organizations. • Maintain situational awareness of current and planned adversary, friendly, and neutral country activities, and operations to provide insights on intelligence support needed. Serve as SME for capabilities. Provide data analysis, report preparation, integrated schedules and plans, and program documentation.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to ensure actions and activities are in compliance with USD(I&S) policies and intelligence oversight laws. Contribute knowledge and expertise for intelligence-related efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the contract effort. The contractor shall have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of government and best business practices, experience in writing, technical editing, and professional communications skills.

Qualifications

- TS/SCI Security Clearance

- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university is required.

- At least 12 years of relevant experience

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

 

- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. - Recent (within the past 5 years) relevant experience as an action officer on the Joint Staff, OSD, Service, CSA, Service Intelligence Center or CCMD Staffs working intelligence related issues.

- Recent (within the past 10 years) relevant experience working intelligence issues.

- Recent (within the past 10 years) relevant experience indicating knowledge of, or participation in, the planning and execution of military operations.

- Minimum of 12 years’ experience as a DoD or military intelligence professional
