Responsibilities

Responsible for keeping the digital security of their company or client’s networks up-to-date. They help implement new protocols, operate a computer system that protects against cyber attacks from outside sources, as well as maintain an IT infrastructure in order to provide maximum protection within an organization’s walls. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. Architects, designs, implements, maintains and operates information system security controls and countermeasures.
Analyzes and recomm Five (5) years of relevant professional experience providing System Administration support is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.ends security controls and procedures in acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, and monitors for compliance.

Qualifications

Seven (7) years experience as an security engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required CISSP Certification is required.

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102,251.96 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,287.12 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
