Responsibilities

EverWatch Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to serve as a team facilitator for several agile software development, modernization, and sustainment projects in support of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station (AF DCGS) National Mission Partner (NMP) Family of Systems (Fos). In this role, the Scrum Master will coordinate closely with the Development and Sustainment Task Leads to adopt an iterative, agile framework to help with team capacity and establish an efficient and effective velocity. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading Agile management activities to include daily stand ups, Jira and Kanban Board maintenance, Sprint Reviews/Planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, workflow management, and other ceremonies to support team activities. This position is for full time support and allows for remote/hybrid work with a well-established team in support of evolving government requirements.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (able to start prior to obtaining clearance)
  • 14+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Scrum Master in contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting an IT Project Manager, Product Owner, and/or Release Manager

Desired:

  • Utilize Jira to create, maintain, and organize features, epics, stories, subtasks, and backlog
  • Compile, analyze, and presented statistics concerning time estimation accuracy, team velocity, and burn down rate to effectively manage sprints and personnel taskings
  • Coordinate with Task Order Leads, Program Manager, Product Owners and Dev Lead to ensure features and requirements are properly understood and managed for timely product delivery
  • Interfaced with SMEs, testers, and user support teams to receive requirements and provide status on feature progress
  • Review and provide feedback on drafted user stories and epics to ensure alignment with general Agile user story standards and establish Definition of Done for each task
  • Experience with the following tools, processes, and procedures: Jira, Kanban, SAFe, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, and Value Stream Management
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience organizing and writing according to an established standard
  • Experience with and/or working knowledge of IT systems and common IT terminology
