EverWatch is seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer
Basic Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with deploying, managing, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters, including distributions such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or VMWare Tanzu
• Hands-on experience with managing and configuring Cloud Management Console with Command Line (CLI) and tools for DoD Cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Experience designing, configuring, and maintaining security configurations and policies
• Hands-on experience writing playbooks and using Powershell, Python, and Bash scripts for automation tools including, Git,Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
• Experience with system performance tuning and monitoring using tools such as Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Grafana, Prometheus, or others.
• Secret Clearance
•DoD8570 IAT II Compliance Certification, including Security+, CCNA Security, or GSEC
• HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to establish, maintain, effectively plan and prioritize tasking.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scripting in Bash or Python
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, auditing, authentication, and supply chain risk management
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications, appliances, or machines aligned to DoD/DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG)
• Bachelor’s Degree
