DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a DevOps engineer at EverWatch, you’ll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:    

• Experience with Linux CLI
• Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible
• Experience with trouble-shooting large Linux Clusters
• Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience using Git for version control
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications
• Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
