You Have: 

• 10+ years of experience in Linux system administration and engineering, with a deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu
• Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining workstations in a Linux environment
• Experience with data transport methods and data flow tools such as Nifi
• Experience with automation tools, including Puppet and Ansible for configuration management and deployment

• Experience maintaining system integrity along with implementing operating system updates and vulnerability patches to improve reliability and performance

• Experience deploying systems in virtual environments, including VMWare

• Experience with a project ticketing system like Jira or Serena for task tracking, issue resolution, and change management
• Ability to test and troubleshoot custom software, GUIs, and isolate network outages
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS Diploma or GED
• DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Experience creating Java and Linux-based solutions for customer requirements
• Experience supporting U.S. government customers, preferably within the U.S. Intelligence Community
• Experience with Linux scripting languages
• Knowledge of network concepts and switch/firewall configurations
• Knowledge of AV media transport protocols, processing, and playback methods
• Bachelor’s degree
• RedHat Linux Certification
• Willingness to travel 10-20%

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
